As usual human kind intends to stamp around and probably just create a worse problem than already exists. Wonder what has been done since 1990, when the species of owl was acknowledged as being in danger, 23 years seems a long time for a natural solution not to have been found, don't you agree? They need to listen to the naturalists. But touting a gun is easier isn't it? They can even label it sport, sell licenses and make a profit perhaps! Taxidermists would have a field day, thousands of trophies to stuff. Obviously the hunting would have to take place during the night when owls are out and about, and we all know that mankind can't see in the dark, and that he won't be able to distinguish one breed of owl from another. In ancient Greece it was considered bad luck for the person who killed an owl so woe betide those who carry out this ridiculous policy.
