Pleased to meet you buy suminat Predictably, within hours of Mr Cameron’s announcement, Nigel Farage pounced. The leader of Ukip was quick to dismiss the Prime Minister’s measures in typically colourful terms. He said that Mr Cameron was attempting to “shoot Ukip’s fox with a catapult made from soggy spaghetti”. Mr Farage’s contention is that only by leaving the European Union will the UK get back full control of its borders, and regain the right to decide who gets in and who does not. Anything short of that, he says, leaves the British government powerless to resist Brussels and the impact of agreements signed by previous prime ministers ending restrictions on free movement.
