The West Bend 84915 slow cooker offers true adjustable temperature control. The slow cooker makes cooking simple in a number of ways. Meat and poultry are more vulnerable to bacterial contamination than vegetables and grains. Still, I wasn't giving up on slowly cooking my food to perfection that easily. I haven't come across this option in other slow cookers.
